Arizona Plunge and Run Lake Havasu City

The Arizona Plunge-N-Run Announcement came my way today and I thought I would share.

The Arizona Plunge-N-Run is an exciting and challenging Aquathlon – a two stage, Open Water Swim & Off-road Run event.

Race Details When: 6:30am Saturday, August 28, 2010 Where: On the west end of the island at white/grey lighthouse (near Site Six). Follow directional signs.

Description:  The Arizona Plunge-n-Run is the perfect venue for athletes to practice open water swimming and swim-run transitions for the upcoming triathlon season. This fun and challenging multi-sport event combines 1000 meter open water swim with five miles of trail running through the island with beautiful views of the lake along the way.
