Cape Coral Unit 64 is located in the Southwest part of Cape Coral and is one of the most desirable boating areas in the Cape. This area is waterfront canals can accommodate very large powerboats and sailboats. There is only the 70 foot high fixed bridge at Sanibel to navigate under to reach the Gulf of Mexico. Most of the canals are 80 feet wide, some are 100 or 120 feet wide, most are at least 5 or more feet deep. Some of the deepest canals are located in this unit. Many sail boaters have chosen Unit 64 for the deep canals, no overhead restrictions and quick access to the river and the Gulf of Mexico.

Unit 64 is roughly a one mile square area located South of Cape Coral Parkway, between Chiquita Blvd and Skyline Blvd and North of El Dorado Parkway. It is mostly made up of Gulf access properties located on dead-end cul-de-sac roads. Most of the unit is single family with condos located on Cape Coral Parkway and SW 48th Terrace, there is also an enclave of condos South of SE 51st Street and North of SW 51st Lane, off of Chiquita Blvd. The properties located to the West of Skyline are known as the North Fingers and the South Fingers.
