Hello World and welcome to my first blog of Norfolk. I thought for a couple of days what I wanted my first blog to be. It’s an amazing time in Norfolk real estate so I am going to talk about first time home buyers and single people who are on the brick of buying, but every time they turn to the news it seems like it’s getting worse. I just got a couple locked in at 4.75 on their first home. They came from Texas with every intention of buy in Norfolk, but as I took them around to view rentals they came to the quick realization that they could make their money work for them by buying a home in Norfolk. So many homes have been sitting for years on the market. A Norfolk home that appraised for four years was 250K, but now it only appraised for 150K.
Sounds too good to be true? Well that is the realty of the Norfolk market right now. There are still loans available with 100% financing. I work with several Norfolk lenders in the area and if anyone is interested in seeing what rate they would qualify for do not hesitate to call me. My next blog will be my first experience buying my first home and how I was treated by my Realtor. I will show you several things to look out for.
