Luxury Honolulu condominiums

Over the last two decades exciting new Honolulu luxury condominiums have been on the rise. Due to its broad diversity and international appeal, the city of Honolulu has become a second home to people from all over the world. The beautiful beaches, world-class shopping venues, restaurants, and multitude of cultural activities continues to make this city a special place in the hearts of millions who have visited and those who have come to stay. Some of the most exciting Honolulu penthouses are here to look at.

One of the most exciting and dymadynamicrging Honolulu condo neighborhoods is Kakaako. Rich in its diversity of residents from all over the world, this neighborhood is near Ala Moana ShopShoppingter – the largest shopping mall in Hawaii. Kakaako condos are also walking distance from the beautiful Magic Island at Ala Moana Beach Park. Nearby restaurants, a giant movie theater, small businesses, and a variety of cultural events and activities make this a a sought after destination appreciated by the locals as well as people from everywhere.

See what plans are in store over the next few decades in this emerging Honolulu condo neighborhood.

In the 1960′s and 70′s Waikiki condos were developed at a rapid pace. The Ala Moana area and Kakaako community are just outside of Waikiki closer to the downtown area of Honolulu. What was once a neighborhood full of industrial warehouses is now slowing turning into an exciting new Honolulu condo neighborhood. It’s Time to Buy Oceanfront Condos in Honolulu!

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

When looking for a home to buy in Honolulu, be sure to consider all your options. While having an oceanfront home is at the top of many home buyers’ wish lists, it is not always a viable option. Today’s real estate buyers have to be more realistic and sometimes that means compromising on either location or style and size of the home.

Honolulu oceanfront condos are a great way to be able to live right on the beach or across the street from the beach in Honolulu.  Compromising on having a single family home may allow you the luxury of stepping outside on your lanai or balcony to enjoy that enchanting ocean view. You will have fantastic sunrise and sunset views too.

There is currently a lot of inventory on the market, and various Honolulu oceanfront condo styles and sizes are available. Depending upon the needs of your family you can choose from studio condos up to a three or four bedroom unit. Many Honolulu oceanfront condo complexes have wonderful amenities such as swimming pools, jacuzzis, tennis courts, exercise rooms, and barbecue/recreation areas.

The price you spend on your Honolulu oceanfront condo will reflect the location of the condo you choose. Higher floor units typically cost more because the views are superior. If your condo community has tennis, golf or a pool, it will cost more than a condo community that does not offer them. Likewise if it is a gated community, that cost will also be reflected in the unit cost. It could mean a higher overall price or just higher homeowner association dues each month.  Please be sure to contact me with whatever questions you may have about living in Honolulu.  I am an experienced real estate professional and specialize in oceanfront properties.

Beautiful Condominiums in Honolulu!

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Honolulu condominiums have broad appeal to visitors from around the world. Waikiki, within the city of Honolulu, has long been considered a “must visit in my lifetime” destination. The current Waikiki condominium prices range from as low as $37,500 for a leasehold coop studio in the Kuhio Ebbtide Hotel, Inc. to as much as $4.6 million for an amazing fee simple 4-bedroom penthouse in the Waikiki Landmark.

Just outside of Waikiki is one of Honolulu’s newest and most exciting neighborhoods – the developing Kakaako community. Here you will find beautiful soaring highrise condominiums with wonderful ocean, Diamond Head, mountain, city, and sunset views directly across from the world renowned Ala Moana Beach Park. These Honolulu condominiums range in price from $200K for a modest 1-bedroom condo in Rycroft Manor to $3.8 million for a beautiful Hawaiki Tower penthouse unit with amazing views and high quality finishes.

The Kakaako condominium neighborhood is walking distance to the Ala Moana Shopping Center – Hawaii’s largest retail shopping center with Nordstrom, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Sears as anchors along with hundreds of the world’s top retailers including Tiffany & Co., Fendi, Versace, Coach, Emporio Armani, Gucci, Louis Vuitton to name just a few. The Kakaako community is also walking distance to the beach, restaurants, smaller shopping centers, and a 16-theater mega movie complex. Since its completion in 2006, Hokua At 1288 Ala Moana (Hokua) has been considered one of Honolulu’s premier condominium complexes. With unobstructed views of the ocean, world-class amenities, and one of the very best locations in Honolulu, this is one of the very best addresses in Honolulu.
