What you do to make your home look like it belongs in a magazine or movie set could give you a quick sale. Use these tips!
#1 – The exterior view from the street is important. A drive by lookie loo may show an interest if the outside of your home looks good; thinking the inside must look just as nice. Lawn mowed, shrubs cut, kids toys in the garage..and..well, you get the picture. Also, a clean dormat and house numbers you can read, help.
#2 – Have a large enough sign in front that can not only be seen from the street, but able to read what it says.
#3 – Add a brochure box attached to the sign informing buyers about the basics of the home, plus your cell number.
#4 – Open the windows if it’s a nice day. Smells count. Bake some cookies in the oven an hour before any open house.
#5 – On dark days, turn on all the lights. Store furniture clutter in the garage to make the home look larger.
#6 – Make your dining room table festive.
#7 – Make sure your doorbell works.
#8 – Make sure door handles and knobs work
#9 – Don’t follow buyers around the house. Take a walk outside.
#10 -Women will check the kitchen and bathrooms. These two places need to be immaculate.
