Saratoga Springs Utah has had some bad press lately with some saying it is a declining market, but that doesn’t necessarily mean buying a home there is a bad idea; especially if you are in the Military and want to live close to Camp Williams. Depending on were you live in Saratoga Springs, Camp Williams is only a 10-15 minute drive with a distance of only about 7 miles. That makes for a short convenient commute, but what about the Market? This is one of the areas of the state that has been hit hard by foreclosures and short sales. That being said it is also a place for great opportunity. Bank owned homes and short sales can be wonderful opportunities to purchase a home at a great price.
With many economists predicting the end of the recession later this year, on top of all the Gov. incentives this is a good time to buy. Saratoga Springs may be seeing a turn around in the market. This area has seen an increase in home sales from last year of a 106%, and the median home prices are $242,580. Homes in the area are starting to sell very well and they are still affordable. In the coming years many people are going to be shaking there heads and saying “I should have bought in 2009″ Don’t be one of those people, If you can buy, now’s the time!
