Well, Utah has done it again!!!

What is another reason to buy in Utah, specifically in the Ogden area?

Utah is now the second, after Vermont, “healthiest” state in the nation! I heard it on the nightly news at www.fox13now.com.

I read an article provided by Fobes by Rebecca Ruiz referencing some of the catagories determing the ranking: how many children receive recommended vaccinations, obesity, smoking rates, cancer deaths, number of doctors per capita, low rate of child poverty, public health infrastructure, violent crimes, alcohol consumption, rates of infectious disease, number of preventable hospitalizations, levels of air polution, to name a few.

Last week we were the happiest and now this week we are the healthiest. Way to go UTAH!!!

I feel one of the reasons for being ranked so high as being the healthiest state, but not mentioned, could be all the sport activites locally available. I think I will do a blog on all the sport activities right here in Ogden and the surrounding areas. If you would help me out by letting me know which activites you and/or your family participate in, I would appreciate it. With your input, no sport would be left out. There are a lot of indoor sports as well as outdoor and seasonable sports. Please help me out here because I am not familiar with all the sports and this could be a learning experience for all.
