Denver, Colorado, most popularly known as being the Mile-High town given its 5,280 foot elevation. The climate varies from being warm to cold during the winter and July being the warmest month. Autumn tends to drop a lot of snowfall and is very cold. Record highs for Denver are 105 degrees in 2005 and the coldest was -29 degrees in 1875.
