Now, don’t get me wrong, Short Sales are a great way to do business especially in this current Real Estate Market. So where am I going with this……….the truth is, SHORT SALES DON’T ALWAYS WORK!
There are several reasons why Short Sales don’t work and we are here to help you get out of the many pitfalls other investors and realtors can fall into.
Many Realtors think they know how to do a short sale but then get bogged down by the process. I suggest you get the training and support needed in order for you as a Realtor or Investor to be competent when doing a Short Sale.
Lack of short Sale training is one of the many reasons short sales don’t work so it is up to you to get the best education with value for your hard earned dollar that is out there. There are now several programs offered through the National Realtor Association and if you are not a Realtor then there are many, many books, CD’s, virtual training etc. available via the internet.
Look for a program that gives you the nuts and bolts of short sales and arm you with the right “lingo” to use concerning BPO’s and Loss Mitigation. Training and Education are the foundation of success in any endeavor so why not seek out the best for your short sale training today.
You will need to know what a short sale is, how to conduct a BPO, how to talk to loss mitigation person or negotiator, what documents you will need to submit and when and how to follow up. Short sales are bigger than ever today and knowledge is power.
To your continued success
