Welcome to my real estate blog where I hope you’ll find interesting information about many of our wonderful, East Dallas neighborhoods!

My husband and I relocated to East Dallas from Northern California in 1999. We loved the charm and character that the areas surrounding White Rock Lake had to offer and settled just north of Mockingbird and Abrams. A few years later, we moved to Hollywood Heights where we currently live with our two, growing sons. Our kiddos attend Lakewood Elementary and we all love the school, the community and the people that live in this unique, beautiful part of town.

I started my career in the mortgage business in 1994 (yes, I was 6 at the time!) and worked my way up to managing a large, successful sales territory for HSBC in their acquisitions department. I spent 8 years reviewing appraisals and more than that negotiating with other large lenders throughout the U.S.. These skills and knowlege set me apart from most of my colleagues in the real estate industry.

When not working (which doesn’t happen often), I enjoy serving the community in which I live, spending time with my husband, kids, 2 dogs and 1 cat! On weekends, we can be found at various soccer fields, football fields or on basketball courts cheering on our kids. After games we enjoy entertaining at our home or being the foodies that we are and hitting any of our favorite, local restaurants. I volunteer for Meals on Wheels and love it and have served on the boards of the lecpta (Lakewood Early Child PTA), Lakewood PTA and the Hollywood Heights Neighborhood Association board.
