Ok, people… Its closing in, the deadline for you to be eligible as a 1st time home buyer to cash in $8,000 Tax Credit! You mush close, or have a settlement on a property before the 30th of November. This means, if you have been looking to buy a house, you will need to be in contract like NOW… (ok, no pressure, just emphasizing) It is smart to count about 4-6wks for a lender to get your loan ready after a contract gets both parties signatures.

If you haven’t been doing this already, seperating plastic bottles from your regular trash is now a law in NC. Starting October it will be illegal to throw away any plastic bottles, like plastic water bottles and plastic detergent bottles. Its already been illegal to throw out aluminum cans.
Recycle, Recycle, Recycle… You are already doing this anyway right?

Raleigh-Durham, N.C. (14.7 percent, up 3.6 points). A mix of government jobs, higher ed, healthcare, and technology has helped this progressive area pull off a neat trick: Population is growing at a healthy 3 percent rate, but the unemployment rate remains one of the lowest in the state. Vacancy rates will rise slightly in 2010 and some tenants will get a break on rent, but metro area residents may soon be wondering, what recession?

This NO RENT POLICY is actual part of HOA Rules & Regulations of above communities and any buyers who buy from one of these communities are asked to acknowledge and sign the disclosure.
So, what happens if you want to rent it out after living in it for a while? Well, as long as HOA Rules & Reg does not get voted by the owners to have it changed, you will not be able to rent it out. Having said that, I will need to let all know that if any homeowner is having a “hardship” that can be documented and presented, the HOA board will put it up for a vote. Then, and only then, you may get a permission to rent your home.
