 I am proud to say that I am a “Boomer.  Ihave lived my whole life in Iowa and the last 35+ years in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  I have been a Realtor with Heartland Properties, Inc. for the past 11 years.  Heartland is a home grown brokerage with many of the super stars of Southwest Iowa real estate working here which is why I choose this brokerage.  I have consistantly been amoung the best agents here which I contribute to my no nonsence business approach to real estate.  I am licensed in Iowa and Nebraska so I can help clients whether they want to be in Council Bluffs, metro Omaha or the small rural communites surrounding.

Prior to real estate, I was Vice President of Sales for Banks, Broker/Dealers and Structured Settlements for the Mutual of Omaha Companies.  My 25 years with this Fortune 500 company provided me with excellent training and skills which I use daily in my real estate business.  If you are looking for the “typical” real estate person that will tell you what you want to hear to get the sale….I am not for you.  I want to earn your business by taking the time up front to learn what your goals are and then partner with you to reach them. 

I not only have professional real estate experience, but have personally had to make decisions on buying my first home, purchasing my second “dream home”, downsizing and building my townhome,  assisting a parent in making housing decisions based on their health situation and determining if a real estate venture is a good investment.  None of these decision were easy for me, so I respect the  fears and concerns whether buying or selling.  This is why I try to stay as close as I can to the market and educate myself on real estate, the community and financial options.
