It’s important to work with a Realtor who understands your needs and with whom you also enjoy working. I’ve developed a list of questions to help you in your home search:
1. Are you a fulltime or part time agent? Fulltime means more attention to you.
2. Do you specialize in the area(s) in which I am interested? A specialist can better advise on pricing and demand.
3. How many other buyers are you representing now? The busiest agents are often the most efficient, however, too busy can mean less personal service.
4. Will you handle all aspects of my purchase or will you delegate tasks to an assistant? Be sure your agent is available when you need him/her.
5. Can you provide a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) of recent sales and homes currently on the market?
6. Is your license in good standing? Many states provide this information online.
7. How many years of experience do you have?
