When I decided to move from the dreary foggy areas of the North San Mateo County area, I (like most folks) really took my time to think about what type of area, neighborhood I would want to live in, and raise my young family. Being in real estate, made this thinking process all the more intense. I thought about all the things that my clients are looking for when they come to me to help them find a home. These are things that I also wanted for my family: great schools, low crime, good weather, nearby transportation, close to the San Francisco International Airport, BART, SAMTRANS,CALTRAINS, not having to commute, not having to drive over any of the major bridges; Bay Bridge, San Mateo Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge and be near Highway 280, Highway 101, Highway 92.
Bingo! Foster City nicely fits the bill!
Having grown up in San Francisco, it was important to me that my children could have a pleasant experience growing up. Being able to walk to a top ranked public school, ride their bikes, visit friends, and having a sense of community was really important to me. Having nice, clean parks within walking distance from my home was always a huge plus.
Real Estate values have been holding steady as compared to other nearby towns like San Mateo and Belmont. Foster City is always on the top of my list to promote to families looking for a great place to live. I’d love to help you find your new home!
