MAN! What a change in the weather! Had to turn the heating stove up today. Just not ready to have the Summer over with yet. Too many things left to do on the outside.
Now here is news related to Real Estate: Inerest rates on fixed 30 yr. loans are @ 5.04% for the week of 9/24/09, down from 6.97 a year ago.
Because of the attention being given in Congress to the Health Bill – the chances of the first time home buyer tax credit may not get extended. You can bet that the National Association of Realtors are in Washington reminding everyone that time is running out. After all, without Buyers wanting our help in finding them the home they want, we would be out of business.
Now here are some Safety Factors I would like to pass on to the Sellers who put their homes in our hands.
When that FOR SALE sign goes up in the yard, we are letting the world know that you are selling your home. Although buyers sometimes have different motives that purchasing a home. As outstanding of professionals as they are, Realtors can’t always be in the same room and watching all the people, so here are a few suggestions:
Don’t keep you valuables, like rings etc. laying out in the open,
Hide any weapons that you might have.
Check your locks,windows, and other entry ways regularly.
AND one of the fastest growing trends is pilfering prescriptions during OPEN HOUSES. Many times they work in pairs.–one to distract while the other removes the items. It is best to place your prescription drugs in a safe or locked area.
Selling you home can be a time of uncertainty but by working with your Realtor, planning ahead and taking the right preventative measures you can make it an enjoyable experience and prevent the mishaps.
Looks like some parts of Wyoming is going to get snow again this weekend. There is still no place like the Old Cow Town that it was and is now become a urban town.
