Relocation into Charlotte is slowly growing again. While the banks have been in a state of flux as they regroup rearrange and cut back, there has been some good news reported

Toshiba American Nuclear Energy, Swiss financial services, UBS, Westinghouse Electric and many more companies announced relocations or new offices in Charlotte. GMAC, Huber Technologies, Inc., TPM, PFS Framing Systems, DesignLine International, Pfaff Molds L.P. and many more have expanded operations and/or are building new manufacturing plants here in the Charlotte area! Click here to visit the Charlotte Chamber.

It’s quite an extensive list of companies expanding operations and bringing manufacturing to the area. What I am very excited about is Duke Energies new initiatives to build Solar and Wind energy plants across the Carolina’s. This will be the largest initiative of it’s kind and will be another attraction for businesses in the Carolina’s

You’ve might have also noticed DesignLine International manufactures Hybrid Buses and is building a plant in Southwest Charlotte.

Well, the list goes on and on! There is a lot of great news in Charlotte North Carolina and we’re building the foundation of a brilliant recovery. Once again Charlotte will be a relocation destination for business and People looking for a better place to live.

In mentioning all the green business coming to Charlotte, I would also want to tip my hat to all the Custom builders in the city that took on the initiative of building High Performance Houses or Green Homes. Builders like Simonini Builders, Beacon Builders, Schreiner Custom homes and more recently many others now are following stringent guidelines to build homes that are approved and rated by the Environmental Protection Agencies EnergyStar program and others like it. The highest certification or rating might be that from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design rating system (L.E.E.D.S) set by the U.S, Green Builders Council.

These builders Builders like Simonini Builders, Beacon Builders, Schreiner Custom homes are following stringent guidelines to build homes that are approved and rated by the Environmental Protection Agencies, EnergyStar program and other programs like it. Besides using these guidelines in construction, they make a conscious effort to work with the lay of the land and accentuate the surroundings. Many others are now doing the same. The highest certification or rating might be that of the “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” rating system (L.E.E.D.S) set by the U.S, Green Builders Council.
