What to bring while watching the Space Shuttle from Brevard County Florida.

Coming to watch the shuttle? There are going to be crowds so don’t forget some of your main supplies. Bring lots of bottled water, snacks, sun block, bug spray, camera, lawn chair, blanket, radio, games to play, & patience. It is well worth the wait when you see how awesome it is when it goes up!!!!!!!!! Some people camp for days to get the perfect viewing spot, which is along the Indian River in TITUSVILLE. 

We are hoping that as our visitors come to see the Launch from Titusville they will see how nice our town is and want to stay and become homeowners here. We have the best kept secret around. Prices are at a low right now and interest rates are low so it is the best time to buy!!

Titusville Florida has the Best Space Shuttle Viewing Sites

Titusville is one of the best places to view the shuttle. We are about 12 miles from the launch pad, it’s the closest off-site spot and it is FREE. Go anywhere along the Indian River from Garden Street to Highway 50 and it is a perfect clear view across the water to

the launch pad. Some of the main viewing sites are Space View Park-Indian River Ave and Broad Street, on our beautiful new bridge (RT 406 east of US1), William J. Manzo Park-1.5 miles north from Hwy 50 on US1, Kennedy Point Park-1.6 miles north of Hwy 405 and .5 miles south from HWY 50 on US1, across from Dogs R US/Chops/Paul’s Smokehouse. The Kennedy Space Center off course is the perfect spot but it is sold out already, at the KSC Visitor Complex; you have to wait for it to clear the trees but the sound is louder. Going southbound you have Fischer Park on Fischer Park Drive in Cocoa Beach, Lori Wilson Park off of N. Atlantic Avenue in Cocoa Beach, Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral. Don’t want to fight the crowds but still get a good view- try the University of Central Florida- Top of their parking garage or the Orlando Int. Airport on top of their parking garage. Northbound- Apollo Beach, Canaveral National Seashore Parking Lot #1. There is going to be a very LARGE crowd so bring extra snacks and bottled water and enjoy the launch!!!!

Coming to Florida to watch the shuttle launch?

Titusville is the place to be to watch one of the last shuttle launches!! We have the perfect view of the Space Center Launch pad. We are located directly across the river. Come early because there will definitely be a crowd. The shuttle program was first announced in 1972 by the President but it took until 1981 to actually launch the first shuttle. This program has really been a major reason for Titusville’s growth. With the Shuttle Program ending it will make a difference for our town but we will recover as the new private companies come to the space center and  we still have the wonderfulrocket launches. The best time to buy in Titusville is now while the price is right and the interest rate is low!!!!!!!!!

Why move to Titusville Florida?

One more great reason is we have a great restaurant at our newly opened  fishing pier in Titusville.  It is so relaxing to be able to sit on the river and enjoy the afternoon breeze. The new  pier is a great way to get together with friends to go fishing, shrimping, quick bite to eat, listen to music, take a walk, have a drink at the Tiki Bar, and much much more. My friends like to walk across the new bridge nightly for exercise with a view!!  We actually have several parks along the river where you can take walks or just hang out.

How important is Curb Appeal to selling a home?

Curb appeal is so important!!! So many times I would be arriving at a showing and the buyers would decide as we are driving up whether or not to look inside a house based on it’s curb appeal or exterior appearance.  Your house can be breathtaking beautiful on the inside but if a buyer decides not to go inside based on their first impression it would make it very hard to sell. The next time you drive home stop across the street or far enough down the driveway to get a good view of the house and the surroundings. What is your first impression of the house and yard? What are the best features? Lowes and Home Depot are having sales right now on everything you could possibly need to beautify the outside!! This would be worth your investment in time and money if you could get more buyers IN THE DOOR!

North Brevard has the best prices around for Real Estate.

We are definitely in a buyers market right now. The prices are at an all time low, interest rates are low,  why wait!!! I went to a seminar yesterday and the speaker had mentioned that if you are paying around $1300 a month for rent you can buy the same house and pay only around $900 a month and that is with the taxes and insurance. This is a $300 a month savings or for investors – this would be a $300 a month return on your investment. There are so many great reasons to own a house!!! Pride in ownership, tax benefits, you have control of your house ( not a landlord ), the list goes on.  WHY WAIT???????????
