Schools out, summer’s here and “Movies Under the Stars on Las Olas Boulevard is BACK! So grab your blankets, your family, your sweetheart for some balmy summer fun! Starting this Wednesday at 8pm and continuing every Wednesday until August 18th Movies Under the Stars will be your FREE Wednesday night out! Movies under the Stars is brought to you by the Las Olas Association, Riverside Hotel and Twilight Features and each weeks movies is presented and sponsored by one of the local merchants (members) of the Las Olas Association as a way of giving back to the local community.

Memorial weekend is almost upon us! (I hear you cheering) So with that in mind and your as you switch your mode into the festive spirit of the onset of the summer season: I wanted to tell you about a great event the City of Fort Lauderdale is hosting this Saturday May 29th.
The City of Fort Lauderdale is hosting the Great American Beach Party in honor of the famous movie “Where the Boys Are” and the legendary singer Connie Francis. A1A will be converted back in time 50 years to celebrate.
There will be live bands playing classic hits from 50′s and 60′s, classic cars, kids activites and just a good old fashion Fort Lauderale vibe!
“Where the Boys Are” movie will be shown on a giant screen on the sand by Las Olas. Movie is FREE at starts at 8pm!
