I’m Judy Kivela and I work with my partner Ken (also my husband) and, yes, we are realtors. The purpose of this blog, however, is not to promote ourselves although we do hope you’ll think of us when looking for an agent.  It is to provide you with information about the local real estate market. Working as a realtor allows us to really keep our finger on the pulse of the market.  We not only have access to the MLS and the tax records, but we spend a good part of our time looking at properties and talking to buyers, sellers and other agents.   We hope to share our insight into what is going in the market with you in this blog.

We are also a property owners and investors.  We’ve been personally involved in many transactions as a buyer, seller, and landlord.  We have lived in Butte most of our lives and plan to remain here permanently. We have a vested interest in seeing Butte flourish and the community improves.

Our background? I went to University of Montana and Boise State University and Ken went to Montana Tech, and Western, and we have worked as Educator’s for a number of years. We together have 30 plus years of experience in Real Estate.

We work at Kivela Montana Realtors located in the Butte Plaza Mall in Butte.   We do it because it’s fun. Sure, we have my opinions about the local market and properties and may sometimes express them. Some of you may disagree with us but opinions are just that – we don’t pretend they are facts.
