According to National Association of Realtors, existing home sales increased for the third straight month. Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, feels positive about the gain. He commented “The increase in existing home sales occurred in all major regions of the country. Stats from NAR for real estate in the WEST:
Existing home sales improved by 6.4% to an annual rate of 1.16 million in June, higher than 11.5% in June of 2008. Median price was $214,800, 24.9% lower than a year ago. Bozeman median price for June was $280,238, down 27% from a year ago. Number of sales was down 24% from June 2008.
