Now is such a good time to be getting into your first home. Yesterday the rates dropped to 5.5%  which is going to give you more Bang  for your buck. Meaning you have more Buying Power. The $8,000 tax credit is still available for the next six weeks but you must close on your new home before November 1st. There are some really terrific Homes ,Townhomes and Condos in our Sandy area .It’s a great time to take advantage of the times.I have one young couple closing on a townhome with a pool and tennis courts on Monday .They are so excited and can’t wait to move in on Tuesday.I have threeother buyers getting close to their closings. they are all taking advantage of the low rates and the First Time Buyer Government Tax credit  program . This is a Buyers Market with so many super deals out there . there are some other local Grants  available also. The Home Run Grant of$ 4,oo0 for Buying new home  construction / or never been lived in,is anothere 4 thousand dollars you could add to your savings. this can also be applied to your closing costs on you new home purchase .
