A condominium, or condo for short, is a form of real estate where a specified part of a piece of property is individually owned while use of and access to common facilities such as hallways, heating system, elevators, exterior areas is maintained by an association of owners that jointly represents ownership of the whole piece. A condo can simply be said to be an “apartment” that the tenant “owns” as opposed to rents.
